I noticed i havent written a journal since before i moved out lol

well lets see things on the table... Homework... HOMEWORK... time manegement...Money... Making people happy... fucking laundry D: ... keeping myself sane...

im mostly being over dramatic but really this college thing is a lot of work (dont even say i told you so..) but i dont think its nothing i cant handle right now. i just wish i had more time in a day sure i only have 5 classes 4 of which demand homework almost every class lol enough about my problems

i wanna talk about art! well ive been keeping my eye out for freelance jobs around campus that i can do like making flyers for clubs or designing logos for school events. so far ive designed a cool little flyer for the humanitarian club on campus and those flyers will be up today. i attempted to design a logo for the home comming week events, but i didnt catch the deadline quick enough. hopfully theres more of these oppurtunitys for me to get my work out in the public and hopfully get a little bit of a reputation out there

ive been working my arse off in my art class to learn new concepts and stuff but the class seems to go up and down in terms of how enjoyable and relevant the projects are becoming lol sometimes we do really creative fun projects now im having to paint a realistic pattern on a dress and have it practically be life size... its just kind of stupid... i can see where it would work in a fashion and design class...which they have availiable... but im in there to learn more advanced concepts. and this seems like a waste of time.

Digital art! my classes are getting more into digital art stuff so im pretty stoked to show off some of my skills in that. as well as get some good grades hopfully and ive been doing some practice in my free time like the painful morning painting. trying to focus more on painting concepts rather than sketching concepts using shades to show depth rather than lines... its tough stuff for a person like me that learned with just pencil drawings
